YSU Academic Council regulates the educational-methodological and scientific-research activities of YSU and their management. The term of office of the Academic Council of Yerevan State University is 5 years. Session of the Academic Council are held at least one time per month. Principles of formation and activities of the Academic Council of are established by the YSU Academic Council.
The total number of members of the Academic Council of YSU should not exceed 88. The Academic Council in accordance with the positions held includes Rector (Chairman of the Academic Council), vice-rectors and heads of relevant departments of Yerevan State University, as well as elected members, according to the regulations of the Academic Council.
